Teenage Dreamer Chpt 2

Chapter 2

"I don't need anyone to rectify my existence. The most profound relationship we will ever have is the one with ourselves." -Shirley MacLaine

"We found Fall Out Boy's front-man, Patrick Stump in a devastating accident, witnesses have said that he was driving down the 108 when a the car behind him collided the rear of his Ford Fiesta at high speeds severely injuring him . . . "

3 HOURS LATER

"What the hell . . . where am I?" Looking around Patrick noticed that something was different about him, he inspected himself and found that he was completely fine. While glimpsing around he saw the destruction set by the accident. Painful flashbacks filled his mind, making him feel as if he was having a seizure. Pain scorched his head and spread towards his body, cry of pain fled his mouth. Picture of him in the car reverted into his mind, then the crash . . . it all stopped. He had blacked out a moment and regained his conscious, again with the feeling that something was not right. Walking towards the freeway he noticed the trail left by the accident and remember: "I was driving? What  . . . happened ?" Panicking Patrick left the scene and searched for help. "Hey! Hey! Please give me a ride! Someone stop!!!!!" No one even glanced his way, Patrick then decided to walk towards the freeway exit nearly a mile away, wondering what had happened to him. "I live in Chicago . . . I am 33 years old . . . My name is Patrick Martin Stump . . . I have a wife named Elisa . . . Wait Elisa!~ I have to call her find and find out why I am stuck here in uuuuhhhhh . . . Lunita Hills?
Once Patrick left the freeway he walked down the isolated street only to find a dark alley. "Maybe there's a phone" he thought. Waling through he heard a dog bark looking around all he saw as bunches of dark shadows. He preferred to maintain and the lighter side of the path, when a stray dog approached him and was still barking at him. He reached out to grab it by the leash when he noticed that his hand passed the its face. "AAAAAHHHH! What the fuck! how they hell did you do that . . . wait I did that!" Patrick reached out to grab a pebble lying between his feet when he realized that he couldn't grasp anything. Patrick ran down the alley to find himself in a market plaza, approaching the  Barnes and Noble he noticed he could not open the door. trying to wait for someone to pass by he noticed the dog followed him there. "shoo . . shoo boy" He tried to waft the dog away but instead the dog sat there. Patrick shifted his attention towards a group of girls walking out of the store. "Excuse me but I was wondering if you would do me a favor and lend me a phone you see I  need to call my wife and  . . ." Right in the middle of his explanation the girls walked right through him not even noticing his presence. "God! Could I be dreaming, why the hell is wrong with me!" In attempt to enter the store he  phased through the wall and took a good glimpse of his new surrounding. In attempt to communicate with someone he approached the clerk in the front of the store. "Can you Please help me" The clerk not even looking his way, turned and said "Josh have you taken out that new set of books that came in Yesterday? We need to stalk them like now" Frustration was written h all over Patrick, after several other tries he decided to go to the one thing that actually knew he existed . . . the dog. "Hey buddy! Waiting on me?" The dog stood up ready for a command. Patrick led the way towards a quite neighborhood, wondering not knowing where to go. . .
It was dusk when Patrick began to fully comprehend his situation. " Okay so The only thing that could notice me is Buddy. Hey wait is you r name I didn't even check. Mona? Well I'm sorry miss I didn't even notice that you were a lady." Patrick tried to amuse himself mildly while he tried to figure out what to do next. He leaned towards the trunk of a Maple tree and thought while looking at Mona.
